For all Mac users running the OS X Lion, Apple has finally released theMac OS Lion 10.7.1 update which is the first update to Apple's Lion operating system which came out last month, so according to apple the update is suppose to contain fixes to enhance the stability along with compatibility of the Mac OS. So this update is suppose to sort out a few bug issues like the issue that may cause system audio to stop working when using HDMI or optical audio out, then the issue when video becomes unresponsive while playing a video in safari, an issue where the admin user account goes missing after the upgrade to OS X Lion, it resolves an issue that prevents transfer of your data, settings, and compatible applications to a new Mac running OS X Lion, it also improves the reliability of Wi-Fi connections.

Before applying the update Apple says to backup the system using  Time Machine and then proceed with the update and the update size depends on the computer or system you are using. If you prefer to download the update manually go to installer here especially if the update is to be applied in more than one system.
